Why should you join WUDBF?
WUDBF welcomes people from all majors, engineering or not. Our team expects that most new members have little to no aerospace-related experience, so we teach each of these members basic skills and fundamental concepts that will allow them to excel on our team. So, there is no reason to be afraid of joining if you have no experience!
Another unique aspect of our team is that our objectives change annually. The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) – which sponsors the annual DBF competition – announces a different design challenge for every competition year. This means that we never design the same aircraft twice!

Finally, WUDBF is a “you get in what you put in” type group. This means that you learn as much as you want to learn. There is no explicit time commitment, other than attending weekly meetings.
